My first experience with advertising started on a cold morning in January 2012 as a junior art director at HAVAS. There I learned a lot working with brands such as CIE, CONAGUA, Garat Coffee, and EPura for over two years. Then I decided to move with one goal: win a Cannes Lion.

That was one of the reasons I decided to apply at Ogilvy & Mather, and in November 2012, I started to work at Ogilvy Action as a senior art director. I worked for BAT, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, and Tequila Cazadores. During that time, I sent my first entries, two pieces for Scrabble, to Cannes Lions. But after ten months, I was looking for new challenges.

Then, I formed part of Olabuenaga Chemistry as second in command working for one year on brands like Tecate, Emperador, and Chokis.

Then I spent time at Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi as Associate Creative Director, working on campaigns for the digital area, such as Ariel, Escudo, and Subway.

In November 2014, I returned to Ogilvy & Mather, where I was able to participate in national and international projects and competitions.
I worked for Liverpool, Mazda, Kimberly Clark, Pfizer, Tecate, and Coca Cola, among others.

In 2017 I moved to Monterrey, as Creative Director at A2020. Along with the team, we developed campaigns for Oscar Mayer, BMW HR, Cerveza Superior, Cremas Norteñita, Pizzas Fud, Sugerencias del Chef y El Cazo, Sigma group’s brands.

Sparkling brought me back to CDMX to work with Esteban Sacco y Rafa Barthaburu. I was in charge of brands like Mabe, GE Profile, GE Appliances, and iomabe for all of Latin America. On the digital side, I worked for Twinings and Conagra Foods (Del Monte, Act II, and Hunt’s). Act II was awarded among the most viewed spots on YouTube, with the ad called “Gol de Palomita” (Popcorn Goal).

In 2018, I arrived at Isobar (100% digital agency) as Creative Director to work for The Kraken Rum (online and offline), Bodega Aurrera, one of the most lovest brands in Mexico, Aerie, American Eagle, Vittorio Forti, Sigma Alimentos USA, Coca-Cola, Amazon music, Cinépolis, Krups, T-fal, Essity, William Grant & Sons and Coffee-mate. I participated in projects such as Ilusión, Santa Clara, Uber Eats (for the Super Bowl), and Forever 21. I worked here for three years. Working here I appeared in a list of an article of Grupo Expasión in 2019, you can read it here.
Almost two years ago, I arrived in Costa Mesa, California, to work in Casanova//McCann, the most awarded Hispanic agency
in Cannes Two Years in a Row. Nowadays, I work with USPS, Brady, Coca-Cola, Pernod Ricard, NY Lotto,  Sigma Alimentos USA, MasterCard, Lysol and Chick-fil-A.

I love to tell emotional stories through art direction, I think it’s one of my distinguishing traits.

My work has been recognized in the most important advertising festivals like Cannes Lions, El Sol de San Sebastian, Clio, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, IAB, Círculo Creativo de México.

Also, I have been jury at the most important advertising festival in Mexico Círculo Creativo. Internationally was my pleasure to judge the International Wina Awards and The Gerety Awards.
Two years in a row, I have had the honor of being part of the jury for FIAP 2023 and the most recent edition.
I love to design and create sets for TVC or photography in my free time. I've worked for different brands like Nespresso, Suburbia, Great Value, and Nutrisa behind the scenes on art direction.

I had the privilege of being a mentor on Bendita Carpeta, a powerful platform that empowers the new generation of creatives.

I love to chat about AI, so I was invited to write an article about it. Sorry, it is in Spanish...

Here you can read more about the last campaign I was honored to be part of and the point of view of my creative team.
